Work > Border(less)

In the grip of the pandemic, I revisited my drawing practice, exploring borders as mutable, imaginary realms beyond mere geopolitical confines. My chaotic and unrestrained depictions echo the tumultuous conditions and stringent regulations defining the chaotic state of the world. A world where human bodies are scrutinized and national borders fortified, yet suffering permeates indiscriminately, revealing the fictional nature of our constructed divides.
In delving into the historical evolution of world maps—from prehistoric renderings to twenty-first-century interpretations—I unearthed the shifting, transient nature of borders. This historical voyage offered a transformative lens, allowing a nuanced navigation through today's chaotic terrains. My artworks emerge as vivid interpretations of borders as fluid, evolving, and ephemeral realms.
Through the rhythmic interplay of lines and inks—a tangible dialogue of body and material—his drawing series Border(less) displays a dynamic exploration of borders. My creations encapsulate a journey through time, space, and the universal human experience, fostering a deeper understanding of our world's transient boundaries.
